Yes! Ideally I’d like to not have to think about money at all with my art, but we need money to live & our labor has value so.
"You shouldn't make art for the money" buddy I'll take it one step further and say we shouldn't have to labor for capital at all but in the meantime pay an artist

it's always hilarious to me that people will see a penchant for historical dress and go like "you know they were super [whatever] back then" like yeah man. we're still working on that. just bc I think 60s hair bumps and regency empire waistlines are nice doesn't mean I don't like human rights lol

i think the accessibility features on bluesky are great but because i don't use the platform often, i always forget they're there. whenever i post my art, i post the same thing on all my socials at the same time, so it's a lot of copypasting.
