Everyone please diligently check your candy this year. I cracked open a snickers bar and not only did I find a copper ingot, but it was of poor quality.

There are some “investigative journalists” who ran a piece on tv nearly 30 years ago strongly implying my mom’s nonprofit was letting old people die in their care and covering it up. I wonder what they’re up to now.

There’s an essay by Sarah Vowell in which she anticipates with disdain the tributes to Sinatra that would play “My Way” when there are so many better songs in his catalogue. It was called Ix-nay on the My Way. Now comes with a PS lamenting her prediction was right.
