This is a native tree: at the foot of the Abacan Bridge in Angeles City is a blackboard tree (A. scholaris), named as such because its wood is traditionally used to create blackboards in some Asian countries (not sure if that includes the Philippines).

An African tulip tree (S. campanulata) grows under the Abacan Bridge in Angeles City. The tree blooms with beautiful flame-orange flowers. Unfortunately, it's also a terribly invasive species and damages local biodiversity.

Come to think of it, I already am a travelling artist because I've already done two art markets in Olongapo, aside from going back and forth between Manila and Angeles. 😅
So. Aside from signing up for the Patron of the Arts regional event in May for Clark, I also signed up for Baguio.
I guess Amurru will be a travelling artist now.

Signboard makers used to be more common — their works being a ubiquitous and iconic part of Filipino street life displayed on public transportation. These days, there aren't many of them left.

Iniisip ko kung ano'ng app yung ginamit ko when I took this selfie kasi wala sa camera roll ko. Until a friend sent a message asking if I was sick did I find out that I accidentally posted it as an IG and FB story. So ayun.

Kausap ko na yung receptionist ng spa when I realized na hindi ko dala yung membership card ko. The price difference between members and non-members is 600 pesos so that's kinda hard to ignore.
Next time na lang yung massage. Sayang, available pa naman yung cute na male therapist.
