I am absolutely gutted to hear of the death of Rob Wieland, literally one of the greatest tabletop reviewers and commentators we had. Tirelessly tracked industry news, omnipresent in our collective circles and communities. I am so sad for his young family. These are dark days, friends.

I'm a big fan of footnotes in general, but I think they can work well in roleplaying games despite the challenges. They're a great addition where they're used in Burning Wheel.

There's always John Hodgson's The History of Northumberland, which includes a 166 page footnote because he figured out that Hadrian built the wall.

Wish the owners' politics were better, but the stores are clean, the products are good, and the employees seem to be treated better than any of the other regional convenience stores.
