That’s not just ugly: it’s a warning.

Because the biggest story here is not a celebrity clapback; it’s that the White House is using the power of the state to turn human beings into a violence-normalizing punchline, and using America’s culture as a weapon to spread it.

When folks gripe about DEI, remind them who benefited from shutting out dancers like Copeland. That pattern runs through our whole history.

Australia hits another brutal heatwave. Low 40s across half the country and we still pretend this is "normal". If this isn’t a warning siren for a civilisation out of balance, what is?

The speed at which these RW ideas are taking hold in Australia is frightening. First one council, then another…
“A NSW local council has voted to stop flying the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags and enforce a permission system for Welcomes to Country at public events.” Be illuminating to see what reactionary ideologues sit on that council? Absurd retrograde policy. #Indigenous flip.it/sN0YZE

The issue about killing the last 2 survivors is secondary: Trump and Hegseth have ordered *83* murders, not 2.
None of these people were ‘enemy combatants’.
They were suspected drug smugglers until proven to be guilty in a fair trial.
Without that, they were murdered.
That is all.

Seriously, is there actually ever going to be a point at which Australia genuinely distances itself from this rogue nation run by criminals posing as a government? They are disgusting, immoral, and we should have nothing to do with them while they remain such.
Not so much "likened" to a war crime as called out as the war crime it clearly is....and that's if you accept these strikes have anything to do with "war" in the first place as opposed to are simply the US committing murder.
