I love that the Boston cop slide never got fixed and now people just willingly go down it in tribute. It’s basically a national landmark at this point

This is not a massive decision or any kind of change. Costco has never carried mifepristone in its pharmacies. An anti-abortion group is taking credit for something that didn't happen, possibly to generate disingenuous left-wing ire against one of the few corporations that hasn't gone MAGA.

Some good news!
Following up on Tucson free bus fares: city council just voted to keep them free for another year. At the same meeting, they voted unanimously to reject a hyperscale water-guzzling Amazon data center in our desert. The community organizing was phenomenal and is what did it. 1/2

Last year, I had a silly dream that the first Friday in August was a holiday (specifically in Philly) called INVISIBLE FRIDAY where we just listened to "Invisible Touch" by Genesis a lot. Happy Invisible Friday, y'all 🥳

🚨 For the first time since 1986, Philly’s AFSCME DC 33 is going on strike. The union represents thousands of blue collar city workers (including street pavers and sanitation workers) and is the city’s largest—and lowest paid—municipal workers union. The strike will begin at 12:01am on July 1st. 🚨
