Q for marketing execs: if I buy that exercise machine you’ve been flogging to death, will it come with that empty 2000sf workout studio with glass walls high-up in a forest of serene sun-dappled trees? Asking for a guy with a dark, junk-filled basement with occasional cobwebs.
Somehow, I feel like if we’re having to explain the uniform code of military justice to stupid people, we’re losing the argument.
Senator Kelly’s remarks in the video are “a 100% accurate representation of what the law says."

“No American citizen should have to deal with this type of preposterous investigation.”

What does “sufficiently thankful” even look like? Maybe Zelinsky should just let him build a giant Trump hotel in the middle of Kyiv?
Ukraine’s government has been insufficiently thankful for American aid, President Trump said Sunday, as representatives from both nations were meeting to discuss a peace plan with Russia.
Trump Calls Ukraine Ungrateful, Again, for U.S. Support in War With Russia
President Trump renewed his criticism of Ukraine’s government as emissaries from Kyiv and Washington met to discuss a plan to end the war.

I don’t think there’s really any doubt.
Do I understand correctly that there is now a dispute within the administration about whether this "peace plan" was written by Russians or Americans?

Ukrainians truly need this right now — even if as a sign of solidarity. And constant, stubborn solidarity goes a long way.

I really think putting staggeringly dumb rich people who are also total jerks in charge of everything was a bad call.

I think we’ll see the return of many “Dickensian” things here: child labor, rampant poverty, hellacious pollution due to lack of regulation, insane concentrations of wealth into an uncaring industrial elite. The Republicans are nostalgic for the good old days, the 1840s.
Can’t believe the whole country has to suffer through the return of Dickensian childhood diseases because the worst, most ignorant attention-demanders decided other people’s expertise makes them feel bad

He was hoping for clashes and shootings and chaos… so that he could declare martial law. Cities aren’t taking the bait.

Hot take of the day: somebody who carries around a Bible with an American flag and Donald’s signature embossed on the front is not actually a Christian.

Don’t even defer to these people on STEM. The number of STEM graduates who can’t even explain the second law of thermodynamics is STAGGERING… fuck these ignorant people…
the amount of people who will say something like "they went to tech so you know they're smart"

YALL

This just seems to be a metaphor for the United States in general: after this MAGA craziness burns itself out, there is going to be so much tacky billionaire gilding to rip out that it could take ages to clean up.
White House kitchen or Moscow brothel … it’s getting hard to distinguish between the two…

Must be nice having a leader that can speak in complete sentences and respects their country enough to keep its government open for business.

It’s still shocks me that one person can keep Congress out of session perpetually. Where the fuck is that written in the constitution?
When the president is destroying national landmarks, murdering fishermen, raising prices because he's angry over a Reagan video, and kidnapping parents in front of their crying children is probably not an ideal time to have a lazy, completely incompetent legislative branch perpetually on vacation.

Turns out there is no such thing as “law” if the president decides there is no such thing as “law.” When all of law-enforcement is owned by one guy, and Congress shrugs and says “whaddya gonna do ‘bout it” like some kind of mob goon, that’s it for the Republic. Kiss it goodbye.

So… in the eyes of this administration… the only reason for the health care system to even exist is to make sure you can work harder and buff the GDP. Wow.
Dr Oz: "We should make you so healthy that you flourish in life and you engage the workplace. Getting America back to work full speed, getting you to work longer if you desire, that builds trillions of dollars of value to the GDP. That's the goal of the health system."

Imagine being such a thin-skinned fuck-wit that you can’t even stand a quote by… Ronald Reagan.
“.. Mr. Reagan is heard to say in the ad .. tariffs cause damage. ‘Markets shrink and collapse,’ Mr. Reagan says, ‘industries shut down and millions of people lose their jobs.’”
