People had faith in cases of type 1 diabetes in children and the children died because of parents refusing insulin. They won't die (directly) from not getting vaccinated. But either you introduce weird religious tests and discriminate or you make it an easy excuse and eventually children will die.
"Religious liberty" doesn’t protect your child from measles.
Vaccines do.

Logician's note: in fact, if the president hadn't issued illegal orders, telling the members of military to defy the president's illegal orders wouldn't be "by definition illegal", but "by definition vacuously legal", since there would be zero cases to defy.

Recently I came across the old trope that no virus has ever been isolated. With specifying the isolation basically as pure viral particles in a test tube. No, you don't need this kind of isolation to show viruses are real, that would be like wanting a test tube with neutrons.
