short version: it’s my author pen name

long version: I was going by the initials “CM” on a message board for writers, because it stood for “Chicken Mafia.” People knew me as CM and then suddenly I needed a real name for human interaction purposes.

I started going by “Miss Kitty Fantastico” online when I started watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer as a teenager, but that was often too longer for a username on a lot of sites, so I shortened it to “misskittyf.” It’s stuck for nearly 20 years now.

Featherlight (Meg Merchant) originated as a minor NPC in my long-running teen superhero TTRPG campaign, but grew into a major character in the storyline and in my heart. She's the living incarnation of the celestial Raptor Missile. @rabbitbucket.bsky.social brought her to life!

Featherlight, a teen superhero from the Clash Comics TTRPG. She's a young woman with a feathered white superhero costume resembling a black-winged kite, and enormous wings. She's depicted stooping out of a purple sky over a cityscape, with kites flying in the air nearby. A caption describes her as "Featherlight, Āyutatēvi of the Karuṭastiram." Another caption credits James Mendez Hodes @LulaVampiro with her design, and Raya Sarkar @rabbitbucket with the illustration.
