Feels like IndyCar is going to look bad no matter what happens w/ this DC race.
Fails to happen? Look dumb for promoting it & have already angered people.

My fear is that today proves the Penske-Fox ownership strategy is being actualized
Their expansion goals focus on the young “pro-American” demographic. They don’t care about who that might alienate
I believe that this strategy will fail, but the damage done in the attempt will be irreparable

I get that Roger has the political power blinders on, but someone in the organization must understand both the optics and how many newer fans will drop out. Permanent long term damage.
