People choose all sorts of ways to enter different dimensions beyond our conscious understanding.

Me? I choose Ayrton Senna in Monaco
Best possible outcome next weekend

(Use your imagination for what “this” is)
Also if Yuki did this and left to go to Dale Coyne

Ah the ole Scott Speed- Broc Feeney car swap that we all predicted

Leclerc spending his race calculating the points situation while driving his Scuderia tractor to 8th is such a Charles way of dealing with this tragedy of a weekend and season

So next week

Lap 54/58

1. VER (421 pts)
2. RUS +4.8s
3. PIA +7.2s (407 pts)
4. NOR +8.9s (420 pts)

What does McLaren do?

Max need to make Yuki watch last night’s Supercars finale and tell him to be like Ryan Wood at the next race
Max needs to make Yuki watch F1: The Movie and tell him to be like Brad Pitt at the next race

I forgot Piastri doesn’t get FP1 next weekend.

McLaren strategy stays ahead of the curve*

I can't believe that Andrea Stella admitted McLaren decided not to pit either car out of fairness to Lando Norris, avoiding the potential disadvantage of a double stack. PAPAYA RULES BAY-BEE!!!

Hearing every single person: drivers, engineers, commentators flame their strategy in post-race interviews is like an extra decadent dessert
The double McLaren-driver-radio crash out at a track they should’ve cake-walked to victory is going to feed a generation of haters
Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but how the hell can you strategize to get a safety car without race manipulation?

If I’m Helmut I’m making a call to Oscar this week. Give him the seat, engineering input

There’s only one thing I’m asking in return…something I think he’d be more than happy to oblige with at this point…

Lot of love for Hannah Schmitz after Red Bull's principal strategy engineer took to the podium alongside Max Verstappen in Qatar. Can't help but feel that was a very deliberate decision from RB after McLaren messed up their strategy and handed them another lifeline in the drivers' title battle.
Max Verstappen's 'most important' Red Bull ally showed up McLaren in Qatar GP
Red Bull nailed their strategy for Max Verstappen while a McLaren blunder cost Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.

The fun thing about full season championships that come down to the last race is there are so many on the margins moments that got us here

- Oscar getting out of the wet grass in Melbourne
- Lando’s retirement in Zandvoort
- Max in Spain & race ban
- Vegas
- Today’s strategy, Alonso, Kimi
If it wasn't for Alonso backing up the field in his 2nd stint, there's a genuine scenario McLaren could've had a MUCH worse weekend.

Piastri would've finished further back and based on Lando's complete inability to overtake, even on fresher tyres... he might've finished outside the points.

It is sort of insane how if he loses this Max verstappen lost the championship by being a twat in Spain.

Flaviooooo
Lost among the sauce is this : Alpine have now officially, ignominiously locked up last in the teams' standings, not only the first time they've managed that under their current guise, but also the first time since the Enstone factory first served as an F1 team under Toleman way back in 1981! #F1

2nd race in a row McLaren have their garage locked down

You know what they say about things coming in threes…
McLaren in a crisis of its own making is lovely. They’re locking the garage down like they just watched the Challenger explode

“That was smart”

“That’s an interesting move”

Max thank you for twisting the knife. I am cackling, and I know I’m far from alone

It’s funny that a “Max legendary drive” narrative is all but absent

He just had to be there and let the team repeatedly step on a rake they put in front of their own foot
