Keegan Murray is a steals and blocks guy now. That’s what I’m leaving here with. I’m also going to appreciate the parts of this game where Raynaud played against the not Zach Edey bigs. Choosing to ignore that he looked at Edey like “wait you want me to guard HIM?” the whole fourth.

Maxime Raynaud plays basketball like he’s thinking “oh shit oh fuck” all the time, maybe even saying it out loud

Thank you to the two Zachs in this game for their help in taking lottery balls from Memphis and giving them to Sacramento

Love a Russ assist that should by all rights be a turnover. So special to watch a guy just do shit out there. Kings are full of guys who don’t do enough, great to see someone do way too much.

DeMar DeRozan is not a good starter for the Kings at all and hasn’t really been at any point. Separately, he’s the guy I’m least mad at here. His awful fit was the beginning of the end, but it’s a tiger changing stripes thing. He’s been doing his thing well throughout.

Yeah this group fully cannot play basketball together. Sabonis got a lot of the blame for that but I think none of these guys are well-cast here with or without him.

Very funny bench/starter split here

Not that funny to have a fan be out of line but right about this dumbass team, very funny for his name to be one letter off of a not good recent lottery pick on the roster right now
Devlin Carter, the Sacramento Kings fan who was removed from Wednesday's game after a verbal altercation with Zach LaVine, is back in his normal seat behind the Kings bench.

"Urban elites in Tulsa" is a great microcosm of the contradictions in US politics
The Oklahoma senator who sponsored a new law to curtail citizen initiatives said he wants to “give more Oklahomans, not just the urban elites in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, a say in what questions qualify for the ballot.”
Republicans Add New Barriers to Oklahoma’s Dizzyingly Fast Process for Citizen Initiatives
A new law adds to a string of GOP-run states that have undercut direct democracy by piling on onerous new regulations and raising the threshold for signatures.

Actual professional versions of this not only exist but have for a decade. Most racing teams have them. Maybe Marks is “innovating” by making it a chat bot, which would be less useful rather than more?

I’m sorry. What? Durkin has the obvious ultimate bad thing a coach can do black mark against him, but he also wasn’t a good coach.
Per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz and John Talty, former Maryland head coach D.J. Durkin is a strong candidate to land the Auburn head coaching job. He’s currently the interim. The latest 👇

Lots of discussion of the umlaut-laden New Yorker house style, not enough on this premise that we’re supposed to accept as commonplace. What do you mean that “we” expect a great work? Usually angry shut-ins defeated by society produce detestable garbage.
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

Louis C.K.’s Next Chapter
