We now know that the GOP's Big Ugly bill would allow for the sale of 250 MILLION acres of public land. 5.4 million in Washington state.

We can't let them jam this through in secret.

Help me say it loud and clear for Republicans: Public lands belong in public hands.

A DOGE staffer developed an AI tool that hallucinated the size of Veterans Affairs contracts.

For example, it concluded that more than a thousand deals were each worth $34 million, when in fact some were for as little as $35,000.

Trump officials' showings at hearings today were disasters, but it doesn't make headlines bc the media's default assumption is that Rs are clownish rascals. But if Dems didn't know what was happening at their agencies or what habeas corpus is, it'd be front page news. This is a key media asymmetry.

Yesterday, Trump released a plan to rob blue states of Army Corps funding.

His partisan plan cuts off blue states like mine from HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS for water infrastructure we need.

This is historic thuggery straight from the White House, & we've got to speak out.

“Still, it concluded that Trump’s January 27 suspension of PEPFAR in those countries alone would eventually cause 60,000 additional deaths, even if the program were restarted after only 90 days. Those 90 days passed on April 27, and there are no signs that PEPFAR is about to be revived.”
“Both China and Russia are expanding their influence in Africa. When China wants to see senior government officials there, they get in the door by bringing a suitcase full of $100 bills. I got in by reminding them about PEPFAR.”

PEPFAR stands for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.

“Short-term pain for long-term pain” PM. Congressional Republicans, stop this idiocy before it’s too late.
One economically illiterate President is forcing a totally thoughtless trade war onto the entire world, pushing our country into a recession while increasing taxes on everyone.

Congress needs to take the matches away from the President who is setting fire to the economy.

Trump is sending people off to a torture prison in El Salvador with absolutely NO due process & NO transparency.

There are many people who were here legally, who have no criminal record, whose families have no idea if they're even alive.

It's barbaric, and it's unconstitutional.
