A powerful moment for 🖤

Today we unveiled our Baby Remembrance Wall at Meadow Lane - a permanent tribute to our “baby Magpies” who will forever be part of the Notts County family.

I just did my first bird/beer mat commission. IE someone saying , can I have a sparrow on that mat? This is ok, I could do this. They would cost a little more because I’d be working to a spec. But with that in mind if you wanted to commission me, here are 25 beer mats you could choose for your bird.

Went to see Carlton Town. Refreshing not to see players desperately trying to win free kicks. There were perhaps 5 fouls in the whole game. And the goalies didn't feign injury to a pre-arranged signal.

Todays World Mental Health Day. As someone who suffers with PTSD, anxiety and depression MH can be debilitating for those who have it. You never 'get over it' or 'get cured'. The lucky ones manage to ask for help, sadly others don't and don't make it that far. Look out for those around you x

Pride of Nottingham member McPie says: “Patience has paid off. From doubts over recruitment and style to seeing Hall, Luker, Iorpenda and Dennis flourish, the team now plays with identity and progress. With Montague back, patience truly is a virtue.”

The Need for Patience
The need for us fans to have patience has been highlighted this season. During pre-season and even after the first few game many were doubtful (myself included) that things at the club were in a good ...

So, Richard Montague is back! A good thing?

Another great memory. What a night that was. I am lucky to have a dad who is a fanatical Notts fan (as was his dad) prepared to take me to these games as a kid. Sometimes feel a bit sorry for young people who 'decide' to support whoever's top of the premier.

My first season (aged 7) was the record breaking 1970/71 division 4 campaign. Huge number of goals and unbeaten. I remember the final game at home to Exeter who clapped us onto the pitch. I managed to touch Tony Hateley's hair after the game and refused to wash my hands for a week.

Saying 'I went to X place and saw no white faces' is the same as saying 'only white people can be British' and should get you hounded out of politics. The absolute ghouls.

If you ask me to give one defining aspect of the character of Hooklanders, it would be their refusal to have their sense of awe diminished. They refuse to be disenchanted. Modernity is no barrier to their sense of encroaching otherworlds. Even in suburbia, they maintain wonder. – Dr. M. Benn

Author and filmmaker Justine Bateman on generative AI
"They're trying to convince people they can't do the things they've been doing easily for years - to write emails, to write a presentation. Your daughter wants you to make up a bedtime story about puppies - to write that for you." We will get to the point, she says with a grim laugh, "that you will essentially become just a skin bag of organs and bones, nothing else. You won't know anything and you will be told repeatedly that you can't do it, which is the opposite of what life has to offer. Capitulating all kinds of decisions like where to go on vacation, what to wear today, who to date, what to eat.
People are already doing this. You won't have to process grief, because you'll have uploaded photos and voice messages from your mother who just died, and then she can talk to you via AI video call every day. One of the ways it's going to destroy humans, long before there's a nuclear disaster, is going to be the emotional hollowing-out of people." - author and filmmaker Justine Bateman from a piece by Emine Saner for the Guardian

The enormity of the fuck I couldn't give about the Champions League can't be measured using current technology . I'm convinced this is the same for most footy fans who's club aren't competing.
