Legit how one of my wizards cast Magic Missile in dnd.

Also LET'S GO FLYERS!! Finally got to give mom good news about Zegras scoring 😁
More specifically, mom doesn't have access to the broadcast so I'm texting her about it.
Sorry, but I have to play Devil's advocate for a moment:

Meeeeeow.
I will always be in your corner.
What if my left hand actually gets better and I do the next two surgeries on the right side and next year at this time I have multiple intricately carved pumpkins at my door and actually give things away on Halloween all because my pain is less and I can participate again?

Is that even possible?

I want to say this is finally some good news, but good news is Sonya never being murdered. I've thought about her and what happened to this case, on and off. I hope her family, friends, and community can begin to heal.
I just want a strictly Khazrak timeline.
Cutest warning my mom has given in years...

Me: I'm cooking like normal, even without using my left hand.

Mom: Be careful not to cut yourself!

One handed? What of mine would I be cutting? Would the knife bend backwards into the hand that's holding it? I love my mom.
And on National Black Cat Day in the US! I love the floof. Perfection.
So they had my face covered, I couldn't watch but it was fun to listen. I was very happy with that, as I wanted to watch but they wouldn't let me. My eyes were open, and I could see the light above me through the blue sheet. Was pretty, and very interesting.
Post-op hand pain without meds is less painful than when I have a good day with barely registering pain, and then make cookies.

They sliced me open, my fingers are numb, and if making chocolate chip cookies is a 10/10 pain scale, surgery is maybe a 6/10.
Now I have a new, easy way to convey what life-long pain is like.

11 hours ago my surgeon sliced open my hand for carpal tunnel release. I woke up in the middle and thought "huh, they didn't really numb me as much as expected" but just laid there and listened as they finished because it was neat.

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
Today I became conscious midway through surgery for carpal tunnel release, which was awesome (I'm down for this). Then, after, my surgeon happily said the compression on my nerve was really bad, which means he thinks I'll DEFINITELY feel pain relief.

I've had this pain more than half my life 😁
Today a client told me I have a beautiful and positive, lively personality. I looked her dead in the eyes and cheerfully told her "Thank you! It's my mom's!"

She doesn't need to know I also inherited the wrath of both my grandmothers. It wasn't relevant information.
And I don't have the extra cabinet space to store beans and accoutrement I'll never use for myself.
Sure, but they're picky. I'm not keeping a French press and a bean grinder on hand that I'll never use. I have instant coffee, because I bake, but at first mention I'm told that's gross and they'll go buy coffee at Starbucks. I don't think hospitality requires having exactly the coffee they want.
I would deliver so many asthma attacks to drivers who do the same to me in traffic. I would terrify everyone who caused me to wake in the middle of a full blown medical emergency, in the dead of the night, absolutely covered in the stench of pot at a non smoking hotel.

I would be vengeance.
if you smoke near me, i should be able to extract an equivalent number of hit points from you
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
I want colder. Send me your cold, and add extra.
My guests often complain that I don't have coffee for them in the morning. I'd blame tariffs, but really we all know I hate coffee and don't generally drink caffeine.

Perhaps I'm even more un-American than I thought.
