Did you know that today your donation to the United Nations @wfp.org will be automatically doubled, thanks to the Z Zurich Foundation? I’ll be bringing my Hope postcard to the Idle Hands Art, Craft & Vintage Sale on Sunday, too—100% of its sales go to this excellent organization 🕊️

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
