Tried out my Stripology XL ruler for the first time to cut out pieces for the raffle quilt I'm making for the AFSP

I'm not 100% convinced it's the right tool for me. There are pros and cons for sure, and I'm willing to try it on another project in case this one wasn't the best fit

Stopped at @warmncozyquilting today to pick up the fabric I needed for the raffle quilt for this year's @afspmissouri Out of the Darkness walk. I had several friends and family members pick a color and I'm really pleased with how well they go together.

My sewing machine had been squeaking a little, so I kept taking things apart until I found the source of the squeak. A few drops of sewing machine oil with my precision tip bottle and now Marie runs smooth as butter.
