Community, today I was on the scene at 34th and Portland where an observer was shot and killed by ICE. I am horrified, angered, and my heart is with the family who lost their loved one. She should still be alive.

ICE agents have just killed a legal observer monitoring their illegal activities in Minneapolis. Our network stands with our members in the Twin Cities and demands that ICE leave immediately.

My thoughts right now are with the loved ones of the victim murdered by ICE, an individual who was out in our community because of the care and love for our immigrant neighbors. The agent who murdered our neighbor must be arrested. 1/

The misclassification of workers is wage theft. It's stealing from workers and the families and communities they support with their hard-earned money.
No employer should ever underpay their workers—especially not when that work is funded through generous public subsidies.
