🇵🇱⚖️🇬🇧 Some words of mine for Notes From Poland after a rather unfortunate tweet by otherwise stellar MoFA Radek Sikorski on how UK should speed up the extradition of a PiS-era government agency executive. British courts might take their phlegmatic time, but they (usually) get it right.

Indian refiners are preparing to cut Russian oil imports under US pressure, Reuters reports. Trump claims Modi assured him India will stop buying Russian crude. But officials warn this could spike global prices. Washington has linked reduced tariffs on Indian goods to a cut in Russian oil purchases.

Day 1329 of my 3 day war. This war has left the russian navy with submarines that can't sink and ships that can't float.

I remain a master strategist.

‼️BREAKING: the Georgian Dream HAS FINED the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland and the Chairperson of OSCE Elina Valtonen GEL 5,000 (EUR 1,700) for “illegally closing the road” at the Rustaveli protest, the thing they do to all Georgians.

Hmmm

Maybe RuSSia is too poor to buy him a 747, with Epstein files on the agenda, Putler kompromat is not that bad and most of all WH windows are on ground level and he doesn't drink tea?

I really would like to know one day what happened for Trump to completely shift his position on Ukraine. If I were to guess, it's either that Putin personally insulted him, or the extent of Chinese and Iranian support for the Russian war effort.

It is and interesting point.

Poland after all the partitions and occupation is very pro-militaristic if we see any danger (cough RuSSia cough) while Ireland is exporting all the defence problems to UK...

Still can't fathom how comparing a rational response to the Russian security threat to Nazi Germany's rearmament in the 1930s wasn't the end of this. Nicholas Ridley was forced to resign as a *Tory* minister in the *early 90s* after calling the ERM a "German racket designed to take over Europe".

I'm going to guess that if Russians are actually going to freeze this winter, the same people who were completely silent when Russia targeted the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, will theatrically decry it as the greatest humanitarian catastrophe the West has ever caused or some other bullshit.

If anyone has a historical claim over another, its Ukraine over Russia.

However we cannot ignore the Historical Claim over current Russia by Mongolians and Genghis Khan.

A damning account of the humanitarian crisis at Poland’s border caused by Putin and Lukashenko, and exacerbated by PiS and subsequently KO’s illiberal response. I hope it will find an English-language translation.

EXCLUSIVE: Capitol Police are investigating a swastika found in GOP Rep. Dave Taylor’s office.

“The content of that image does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn it in the strongest terms," Taylor said in a statement.

There is no public protest whatsoever. The only public protest there is, it’s against the fact that 50 people keep closing the central avenue.” - GD PM Kobakhidze

In general, they call us Akatsuki for some reason. And he said that Elina Valtonen became the 51st Akatsuki.

The Georgian Dream PM Kobakhidze says that they'll be banning "up to 10" parties.

You probably won't be surprised when I say that this is the entirety of democratic opposition.

Since they are out of the war already and they suffer no losses, ONLY the rest are the ones who need to surrender.

If you need hypothetical 5% loses of those fighting it is important if those are 5% of 5milion or 5% of 4milion.
lmt7.bsky.social
so ful population wasn't as important.

3. Since CSA didn't had a centralised one army your local defensive Confederate army in Texas were useless as they could never take anytching important. So Texas populatio was only as important as who of them served in Lee's army.
lmt7.bsky.social
Ah, the myth of black Confederates.

1. It misses the point by a few states - if you deplete your white soldier reserve in Virginia and Georgia, you loose the war ASAP as your only industrial center is occupied.

2. CSA was too poorly industrialised for full on total war XXcentury style

Every war that is not measured in days is a war of attrition.

And other examples cited in the table were war of attrition too.

Like Korean war after front stabilise, USA vs CSA, WW1, WW2, etc.

They didn't as they looked like a hegemon and now we have a mess that is needed as a forum to deescalate and mediate but will not do much more
