The times are "a-changing" as evident by the need to attend Drone School for aspiring techie folks.

Located in a shopping center in Tokyo, I found it fascinating. I actually wouldn't mind a lesson or 2 in flying a drone. Cool stuff! 😁

As a fan of trains, I had to ride the famous Jungfraubahn to Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station at 3,454 M (11,333 FT).

What a thrill it was to experience a ride on a railway that took 16 years to build (1896 to 1912). 😁

It's with deep sadness that Virgin Voyages has succumbed to being more like a mainstream cruise line and less of its rebellious, unique self.

VV now adds mandatory tips as a line item to be paid and made their fares more complicated. Keep It Simple, Stupid!

I showed her around Tokyo and Yokohama before we embarked on a wonderful Celebrity cruise around Japan.

At a port stop at Chania, Crete, I took a Royal Caribbean shore excursion to Kournas, the Monastery of Arkadi and Rethymnon.

We had some free time to explore the lovely port of Rethymnon on the north coast of the Greek island.

On an overnight port stop in Malaga, Spain, I went on a 4-hour hike of Caminito del Rey.

Most of the hike was along the walls of Gaitanes Gorge on a narrow boardwalk about 100-300 M above the Guadalhorce river.

This is the Unicorn Gundam, a full-scale statue of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from the series Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn installed in 2017 at the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba.

And yes, it lights up at night but unfortunately, doesn't move.

The new Tokyo International Cruise Terminal was the disembarkation port of my Trans-Pacific cruise from Seattle, WA.

Its location in Odaiba, an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, allows for easy access to Haneda airport, Tokyo Tower and Disneyland.

Back on board 1 of my favorite NCL ships. Epic was my 2nd NCL ship when I first boarded her in 2012.

It was NCL's biggest ship then and it made an impression on me - especially the cool solo Studio cabins which I've loved ever since. 🥰

Located just outside of Bratislava is Devin Castle, a symbol of Slovakia that dates back to the Great Moravian period in the 9th century.

The castle sits high on a 212 M cliff, providing a vantage point over the Danube and Morava rivers.

I prefer sitting by the window in an #airplane so that I can see out and take photos.

On this northern path #flight, I was lucky to see a rare sight - the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis.

So surreal and beautiful! 😮

It's seems to be 1 step forward and 2 steps back with NCL.

About 9 days ago, I praised NCL for making their loyalty programs within its 3 lines more useful.

Now, it's a limit of 1 entree per guests in the main dining rooms plus limits on room service.

To get to our next stop at Edinburgh in Scotland from Stratford-upon-Avon, we had to change to a Virgin train at Birmingham.

We treated ourselves to First Class on Virgin and I really liked the branding of Virgin Trains. 😊
