"Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller."
» Ibn Battuta
Now that I know about it, I will be back to try again.

Since a dear friend lives in southern France now, I'll be visiting her annually - sometimes twice a year - bringing her goodies from the US she can't find in France.

Go to Carcassonne - it's prettier and in November, you can have the whole castle to yourself.

This week has been very cold. I must have brought it with me as it was nice weather the weeks before and will be nice next week after I leave tomorrow. LOL!

That was a take-out meal from the McDonald's at the Toulouse Matabiau train station where I then bought a SNCF train ticket to Carcassonne.

Turns out the train ticket was a bus ticket that took twice as long to get there and was not cheap either. A Flix bus would be half the time and cheaper. 😠

Don't get me wrong... I'm sure the show will be a hit, especially with the baby boomer crowd.

The Prince show was well received too and looks quite fantastic.

But they could have created something new and great! Not a safe and creatively boring "concert" show.

At least, Donna was a musical story!

... passport stamps with biometric checks (fingerprints and facial scans) at the border.

EES is being implemented gradually and will be fully operational by 2026 April 10.

At the MUC airport for my transit, I had a quick face-to-face chat with a border agent before he "Entry" stamped my passport.
