Ok.. but now one thing is clear.... If you want to make realistic designs then you will need real life images to use it as textures..
Finally textured the leaf.. Now time to make the tree. Guys, is it just me or does it look more stylized than realistic? 😅

I used a real life leaf image to make a grayscale map and turned it into an alpha texture for maximum realism… funny thing is, no one’s probably gonna notice...but it makes me happy 😅

Made some cozy village furniture.. until I realized they’d make perfect hiding spots.. not for the player, but for something else watching from the dark, waiting for a sneak attack

I made these village tools.. Now I’m wondering… what if the monsters could actually pick them up and attack you? Would that make the game more terrifying?

I made this watchtower for the village area of our game... a calm spot to just take in the scene before things get... spooky

Guys I made a bonfire, but I couldn’t get the burning wood texture right... just ended up painting it black 😅.
Anyone know how to make realistic burning wood in Substance Painter?

Working on procedural aiming. Ignore the left hand .. no proper animation yet. Need to reduce the camera shake a bit. I am thinking of making a proper aim animation for it instead of Procedural. What do you guys think?

Yeah.. I am actually making an FPS horror game..Thanks a lot .. Yes there will be a few attack variations, including a final hit animation that’s going to feel much deadlier and more impactful
Working on player attack and damage system.
The player will only get damage when the AI swings its arm and it hits the player
I like making things complicated😁

Thanks for the support buddy 🫂
1 hour I guess..This was my first time to animate in unreal so it took me more time.
Yeah you're right.. and I don't know why but I understand the curves better in UE than in blender.
I am also planning to use cascadeur for future animations ..
Yep for me it is so much easy in unreal.. i also tried in blender but main reason using unreal engine is you can easily create control rigs for the UE rig .. for advance animation i would recommend to use blender caus there are so many things you can't do in UE..
I made this monster walk animation directly in Unreal instead of Blender. Do you also use Unreal for animations, or do you stick to Blender or Maya? Curious how many devs actually animate inside Unreal 👀

Made this monster for my horror game… but it looks like I accidentally unlocked KFC’s secret character. Guess I really need to work on my modeling skills.
I went a bit quiet lately... been super busy making capsules, artwork, learning animations in UE for the monster AI, and even working on the game’s announcement trailer. A lot happened behind the scenes, but now that most of it’s done, I’ll start sharing updates regularly again. #gamedev #indiegame
Thank you so much.. i really appreciate it.. that means a lot. I really did pour myself into every detail, so I’m glad it comes through. I will never use AI, to me AI stuff always feels off and lacks the originality that makes art alive.
