The praetors (and New Phyrexia in general) do not have an extremely detailed recollection of Yawgmoth's time, only what they can glean through oil-borne ancestral memory (patchy, cryptic, and mostly unreliable). Some seers like Kraynox can scry in more detail.

Throwback time since I'm thinking about the EoE reveals again!
As a Tezzeret fan, I was already sold on EoE, but this post turned it up to 11.
