I hear you. I remember hating it when my surgeon offered to pray with me before surgery. He was trying to be nice and comforting but I wanted to run.

I collect / sell vintage postcards. This 1957 one reminds me to be thankful for the POLIO VACCINE I was given as a kid. Best sugar cube ever.

I was walking thru a Denver mall in tears (just ordered funeral flowers) and Richard Simmons slipped his hand into mine. I was so shocked! He was leading a group of mall walkers but stopped to hold my hand and see if he could help. He couldn't, of course, but he was so completely kind.

It is. We were in the same writer group in England, and I have a book of poems she wrote. Trivia fact: Charlie Chaplin asked to put her in a movie after Wuthering Heights, but her mother said NO, and stopped her acting career when she started school.

I was friends with a charming elderly actor, Florence "Baby Twinks" Kenyon, who at age 6, played young Katherine in the 1920 silent, Wuthering Heights.

She's gone now and seeing that film has been on my movie bucket list. I just learned that it's a "lost film," no copies. Darn it. #scriptsky
