I'm enjoying GREASE for the umpteenth time and read that the screenwriter, Bronte Woodward, passed away at 39, just two years after the movie came out. It's sad to think, I've enjoyed that movie for more years than he had on earth. #scriptsky

Good writers don't blame their tools, but I just got a new power cord for my laptop and I will not miss seeing my screen flash between "BATTERY" and "PLUGGED IN" every several seconds.

Looking forward to whole minutes of concentration.

I've visited my oncologist every six months for 10 years and only today learned that she's been the program director for the largest breast cancer symposium in the US (11,000 attendees!) for the last 15 years. I'm so grateful for this amazing woman. (And my checkup was fine.)

What's your favorite line delivery?

I'm not being sarcastic. I love the way Tommy Lee Jones delivers this line in THE FUGITIVE.

My dentist decorated for Halloween , not with ghosts, black cats or spiders, but with strips of fake bloody gauze and blood-dripped dental tools! Why? Why? lol

Went to a middle-school Fall Fest -- excited kids singing Monster Mash and other tunes (conducted by new choir director, my daughter-in-law!), along with band, dancers, and artists displaying their works. Life-affirming.

Yesterday: Feeding Texas estimates that its 20 member banks have lost a total of $57.6 million in federal funding cuts, and that’s only in immediate canceled funding. But this could actually be on the low end of the potential impact range.

Texas needs change, but one thing I hope never changes is HEB. It's sad that the current problem is happening, but HEB is always there to help people. San Antonio is "Military City USA" so this is a big deal to many.

I'm a nerd who stops at a stop sign even on a sleepy street with little traffic.

Good thing. Today I was nearly broad-sided on that same street by an idiot who thinks stop signs are optional.

Stop signs are not suggestions. Full stop. (See what I did there?)
