It rocks to tell people their shit rocks. Every single person who has ever been nice about my work has been appreciated for doing so. I take time to say I love stuff and it’s always the right time to remind somebody you value their work! You don’t need to get into detail either. Just say it rocks
I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

This hits hard when Byleth is presumed dead for 5 years and Lin is grieving the person that actually listened to him and promised to help and protect him, but keeps on living despite it all. This hits hard when immortal Byleth loses Lin from old age but keeps living to make a world Lin dreamed of.

When in doubt I shove more information into the pattern recognition machine that lives in my brain and wait for there to be enough data to support a decision in the fork of a hunch.

Crimson Flower is a very interesting route and open to interpretation for a lot of unanswered questions but the claim that Byleth only regains their emotions at the end of said route is one I never understood. In order for that to be true, one would have to ignore the entirety of White Clouds.

Science is just continually showing us that we'd live for a very, very long time if we just never contracted viruses and that when we do, it does immense damage to our bodies, and we keep just...ignoring that, by and large
