Let’s be honest, large corporations have gone through regular workforce cuts for decades. The difference now is they can rebrand old-school cost cutting as AI transformation.
If every big player is firing workers, who is supposed to have the stable income to buy their products and subscriptions?

AI chatbots are becoming the new front door to the internet, the layer between you and everything you search, buy, read, or decide.

And whoever controls that layer controls:

what information you see first

which products get recommended

which sources get amplified

how your decisions are shaped

Mixpanel, OpenAI analytics vendor, got hacked. Names, emails, locations, browser info tied to API accounts all got exported by an attacker. What I don’t understand is why OpenAI gave their users’ PII to a third party platform.
