I overheard someone on a tram the other day saying the book was evocative of Lou Reed!
Or perhaps they said it was a provocative loo read.
Either way, worth purchasing.

This is not a sentiment that anyone who has observed Alyssa Healy’s long and storied career would have associated with such a champion of the game.
