OVER A MILLION USERS

DISCUSS SUICIDE WITH CHATGPT

EVERY *WEEK*

what the fuck are we DOING here
Panera’s moderately caffeinated lemonade was loosely associated with 2 deaths before it was taken off market.

This article alone has 4 examples of ChatGPT encouraging young people to commit suicide, and OpenAI’s own public stats estimate over a million users discuss suicide with ChatGPT each week.
I fully believe in the corporate death penalty and believe we would be a better world if OpenAI lost its corporate charter and was forcibly dissolved.

ICE is denying people their due process rights and endangering their lives in the process.

“People were not supposed to spend more than 12 hours in there,” said a former ICE official who worked on oversight and detention issues. “I actually think it’s wildly, wildly fucked up.”
Revealed: ICE violates its own policy by holding people in secretive rooms for days or weeks
Guardian analysis finds ICE increasingly keeps people in holding rooms with little oversight, as some facilities see a 600% rise in detention length

In The Running Man, Arnold is told to gun down people peacefully protesting for food. He refuses, is taken captive, and is sent to prison and framed for the deaths of the protesters via deepfake video.

I still don't know why we need a new one.

Dame Patricia Routledge has passed away. 😭💔

An AMAZING actress. I always thought of her as the Lucille Ball of Britain due to her display of comedic timing & physical comedy on "Keeping Up Appearances" as Hyacinth Bucket (IT'S PRONOUNCED BOU-QUET).

PBS introduced me to her.

Rest in Power.💐💐💐💐💐💐💐

A fixture in my life for as long as I can remember, the great Dame Patricia Routledge is no more. The most versatile performer of parts written for her by Stephen Sondheim, Alan Bennett & Victoria Wood, in a career which spanned more than seventy years in theatre, musicals, film & television. (1/2)
