Ads simply don’t work. With every ad I see, my ire for the products in question grows. Every ad from a major store reminds me to go buy from my local independent shops. The ads make me want to steal those products and throw them all in the harbor. I abhor this constant soulless stream of noise.

I once believed writing was a solitary art pursued in self-imposed exile. I can’t stress enough how wrong I was. Art can’t be pursued in a vacuum. You need peers who encourage and challenge you, who help you improve. Find writers to share your world with. #WriteSky #Writers #Authors

I've been absent from #WritingLifeMonthly because... life. But writing emotional funeral scenes is definitely the most challenging for me (and I've written a few of them). I eventually have to write through blurred, teary vision (and can't see my monitor). They're hard to edit too. #WriteSky
