This by Mahmood is frankly not only disgusting, but also massively disingenuous. It equates seeking asylum with illegality, there's nothing illegal about seeking asylum no matter the route. It ignores that Labour's policies penalise those in need of protection, and plays to hard right rhetoric.

Oh yes, and. If they expect to do my bloods at a 1.30pm appointment, approximately 1 hour after I've taken my T, the result will be inaccurate. Of course, perhaps they'll go "we can book you in for bloods in December-January. We can't possibly issue instructions to your GP before that. "
I have a GIC appointment on Tuesday next week and I am deeply unimpressed by the whole thing. All I want is for them to tell my GP i can go back to the form of T I was on before. If they want my bloods done my GP surgery can do it, in fact THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD ME THEY'D DO.

Today I filled in a webform, applying to be a potential foster for Spaniel Aid! No idea if i'll be considered suitable or not, but it's a big step!

At least i'll get to give whoever I see a piece of my mind. Last time I was...politely scathing. If, as i suspect, they're just going to do a blood draw I will be _incandescently_ angry in demanding to know why my GP surgery couldn't do it.

I have a GIC appointment in just over a fortnight. Last time they saw me, I was told that all I'd need to do to switch preparations was get my GP to request prescribing instructions. He did that and instead of doing what they'd said they have sent me an appointment instead.
