Hey that's me too!
The Pope trying to watch MLB.TV
Brb, I need to check my email, therealbilldeblasio@gmail, I have a feeling I'll be getting more emails from The Times soon.
This colossal Times of London/de Blasio screwup gets more amazing at every turn.

They sent an email to billdeblasio@gmail dot com and thought, "I emailed Bill de Blasio, I can mark that off my list. There's no way that could be a rando's email address."

So pumped for Yesavage, Scherzer got mad-happy
Yes, it was definitely a prank but this story was circulating because the NYT didn't get the joke and was like, "tut tut, obviously they don't know he's a White Sox fan." No, everyone knows that, that's why he got a Cubs jersey
The pope after his 23rd jersey: Nice, another one....
That smile says "people are going to be giving me, the Vicar of Christ, sports jerseys for the rest of my time on earth, and that is not a problem I thought I would have in my papacy."
This is a real: Pope Leo XIV was gifted a Buffalo Bills jersey.

The Diocese of Buffalo said Bishop Fisher met with the Pope on Monday to discuss the ongoing bankruptcy filing, among other issues.

Pope Leo was said to have "expressed his gratitude for this symbol of hometown pride." #billsmafia

Or he knows if he can collect all of them, he gets to bring back Jesus.
Is it the bulge we're supposed to be jealous of?
People read what they want to read, and I think it's getting worse.
Excuse me, Paul who? Now you're just making shit up
I would totally eat that. When I was a kid I would mix chicken noodle soup and mashed potatoes. I know it's a starch mixed with a starch but it was yummy.
Ahhh yes, good memories of that food. Well, some of it.
Exactly! Miracle whip features a lot in mid century grandma church basement desserts.
We could get tshirts and hats!!
To me, it tastes very sweet.
Same, I've had shitty ranch too many times and it just keeps getting worse (kind of like all processed food in the US).
Is there a "I'm tired of seeing the Dodgers every playoffs" club?
Hmm not sure about that one.
Thinking about this topic a little more, I think the ick around mayo is also tied up with fatphobia.
Maybe that was miracle whip?
Freshly made ranch made with sour cream is delicious, but pretty much all of the bottled ranch dressings range from meh to disgusting.
Miracle whip is the bane of my existence. When I was in college I worked in the dining hall and there was this one guy who also hated Miracle Whip. He'd stick his head in the kitchen door and ask me if it was mayo or miracle whip out there. "Man, when I'm working, it's definitely mayo out there."
So many Europeans drowning fries in mayo.
They were just trying to be friendly!
"Skin in the game" ugh. Didn't like it when Hillary Clinton said it and I don't like it any better now.
