I try not to get too upset over a game in November but the last few have pissed me off mainly because it LOOKS like the effort isnt there. Teams cant win every game obviously, but the effort comes into question, oh that i cant abide by

I've been thinking about the buildup of this leaf team, people joke about this, but they are pretty soft and that's okay if they were really skilled, which they're not. They're not particularly fast either, they also don't forecheck well. Tre has completely ruined this roster

I get people are ok with Domi going after Z but:
1) Z was never taking that fight
2) Leafs had momentum and clawed back to a 1 goal deficit
3) Max didn't even make it count. Zadorov played the next shift

I am seeing lots of people blame will Derek Lalonde for the Leafs defensive problems. Can someone actually point out the difference between what he's doing and what the previous coach did?
Also isn't defensive zone structure a head coach thing not assistant coach?
