If you care about feeding hungry families, you don't look for legal delay tactics to keep from releasing funds already appropriated by Congress to feed hungry families. Trump cares nothing about working and struggling families and proved it again today. #SNAP #SHUTDOWN

Basically, shelving people that make us uncomfortable since we cannot figure out how to fix a difficult issue that was, really, escalated when Reagan threw people out of care. This feels like it will be a huge investigation into abuse story in 5 years in the NYT too: www.nytimes.com/2025/10/29/u...

SNAP recipients work. That so many Americans rely on food assistance shows the deep rot of inequality in 🇺🇸.

Corporations underpaying workers who then rely on the government is the real problem.

CORPORATE WELFARE is the only welfare everyone should be blaming.
Pro-democracy outreach to Gen Z succeeds when it aligns with shared, nonpartisan values: fairness, opportunity, justice, and agency. Authenticity beats partisan appeals. We can’t sugarcoat the hard questions or the very real hurdles facing Gen Z, or give guarded, focus-group-tested talking points.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 80th day out of the last 92.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Donald Trump just did something truly awful and is hoping you won't notice.

He fired all of the special education staff at the Department of Education.

What's "small" here is John Fetterman, a person so weak of mind and devoid of principles, so used to the lazy grift he switched to after winning office, that he won't even criticize corruption so brazen it has no parallel in American history, the President literally paying himself a fortune.
Fetterman describes Trump trying to steal $230 million from taxpayers as "small ball, and I think we have much bigger problems than worrying about those things."

Has to be understood as a threat
Trump: "We can never let what happened in the 2020 election happen again. We just can't let that happen. I know Kash is working on it, everybody is working on it. And certainly Tulsi is working on it. We can't let that happen again to our country."
It's not going to work, Mike, when people are going to a US Gov't website and it's showing them the massive increases in health insurance about to slam them.

We are being erased in real time, our history, the laws created to protect our status as citizens. Emboldened white supremacists disparage us openly & on TV.

I took the weekend off from social media. Has anyone in Trump's circle revealed why he thought an AI video focusing on his reported incontinence was a good idea?

I just feel y’all need to be aware of that the membership of Young Republicans is currently attacking the few Republicans who have condemned the group chat.

These aren’t a few “bad apples.” This is who Young Republicans are. “I love Hitler” is the future of the GOP.
My latest for @lincolnsquare.media.
"Trump is soft, coddled, fearful, and insecure. He desperately needs to be welcomed into the Strongman Club...because he knows this to be true: no one would choose to be near him were it not out of fear or a lust for money, power, or both."
Your statement is not remotely good enough. You should take this post down and post a retraction and apology. You won't, but you should.
