I hope his wife - assuming gender etc - ran a little pretend library of his CDs and he borrowed and returned them from that library, occasionally incurring a fine etc, and that they were both very happy with the arrangement.

I am tired of hearing how women are afraid

If you check statistics, you will find out that men are the main victims of violent crime. Yet we keep hearing how many women are afraid for their safety. All men know you need to take some precautions, and do it. And yet, way too many people pretend men can walk around safely, while women need to be very cautious. Tell that to all the men who get assaulted, and/or killed on the streets.
Such morons are doing a disservice to women and men.
Women feel they are in more danger than they really are, which is stressful. And men are being treated as offenders simply based on their sex. It also prevent society to engage with the real issue of male on male violence as men are allegedly already safe.
It is so hard to check basic statistics?

Kann das übrigens sehr empfehlen für Leute, die gern auf Filmfestivals gehen, denen die Berlinale aber inzwischen etwas zu groß und stressig ist. In Cottbus ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen.

Hatte unterwegs mein VPN aktiviert, das mich standardmäßig in Schweden verortet. Bekomme nun beim Hören von US-Podcasts schwedische Werbung eingespielt statt der Dame mit den vielen Problemen, von denen die Plattform nie eines ist.

Ich glaube, ich lasse das jetzt so.
