Think it's going to be a blanket burrito kind of day after work. Send sad music and snacks please and thanks.

Queer BlueSky: How old were you when you came out and how old are you now?

I want to say I was 18 when I was forced out of the closet in rural Oklahoma. My first sexual interaction with a dude and he blabs to some mutual friends about blowing me. Still working on that trauma/my trust issues at 34 🥲
Queer BlueSky: How old were you when you came out and how old are you now?

I came out freshman year of college, I was 18. I’d spent a year struggling with being Catholic, an Eagle Scout, and weird feelings towards guys in my classes before it all just clicked into place

I’m 33 now
"Queer BlueSky: how old were you when you came out and how old are you now?"

Came out on MySpace when I was 16, before my junior year of high school. My boyfriend and I got caught fooling around by his step dad like a month later and his parents forced me to come out to my parents.

I’m 35 now.

Weird luck!? My usual pub has the Sunflower Showdown on the bar television. Like, it's the one football game I'm actually semi-invested in since I grew up in the Little Apple. Guess I'm sticking around longer than normal today.

Made my bike commute to campus only to have no scholarship checks to pick up. The weather is awesome for cycling though, so silver lining. 😊

The joy of somehow donking up your left ankle and right knee and having to deal with that while living on the third floor. 😬

I know that it's cheaper than paying month to month, but having six months of car insurance go out at once still hurts, especially when you're paying Baltimore City rates. 😭

🤤😍 Came out perfect! Just the right ratio of sweet to savory to spicy (for my admittedly white palette). Now if only I weren't a season with my heart guy. 🥲
🤩 Sweet corn chili in the slow cooker! Looking forward to it and some corn bread this evening~

Ah. A block further south. Hit the route on my way back thanks to Baltimore's many one-way streets.
A little shocked I didn't hit a marathon crossing biking into Charles Village for errands this year. They must have started earlier this year?

Nobody can know everything, let alone everything by their own research. We always rely on experts to navigate our complex world. The question is whether we pick credentialed and experienced people or internet demagogues and grifters.
RFK Jr: We need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.
