I've always felt that Johnson and Farage put self-interest over the national interest - hence their dallying with Putin and his oligarchs. But directly colluding with a foreign government to take down the BBC feels like an act of supreme treachery

What you’re witnessing is a populist assault on the BBC.

Well, that was a bit tense at times, England v France, but the Red Roses are through to the Women's Rugby World Cup Final! Woo hoo! Two stunning tries from Ellie Kildunne. And what a fantastic atmosphere at Ashton Gate, Bristol. Even saw a rainbow 🌈

Second pic shows all 11 Somerset players surrounding the Hampshire batters in search of the final 2 wickets. Brilliant drama. See you again next year boys!
