Environmental/community advocacy and mobility justice through sound land-use and transportation planning, policy and promotion. He/him.
I happen to think that speeding is underreported as a contributing cause of serious injury and death on our roadways. Speed limiting tech for cars is important.
Roughly 40,000 people are killed in traffic crashes each year, with speeding contributing to nearly a third of those fatalities.

On #WDoR2025, we remember and honor those who have lost their lives and those who have been injured, and we act to implement evidence-based solutions to end this crisis.

When roadways carve up cities, creating barriers to active transportation, their construction and maintenance budgets should have to provide the necessary funds for infrastructure that enables safe, efficient, easily accessible passage for those on foot and bike.
This is the Groentje Brug in Nijmegen

This bridge forms an important connection on the Rijnwaalpad: a non-stop, 16 km route from Nijmegen to Arnhem, designed to reduce congestion on local roads and trains.

"But fundamentally, crime of any kind is a minor risk for a white man in D.C., which classification applies to Mullin, Duffy, Scott, and Trump. Overwhelmingly, the largest source of danger for people who fit that description is vehicle traffic, which killed 110 people in the D.C. area in 2024..."
Why Republicans Are Terrified of Nonexistent Crime
They need an excuse to violently subjugate liberal cities.

Cars sold to the public should never be able to exceed any legal speed limit in the country. That should be the default design.
"By installing speed limiting devices on the cars of the worst of the worst offenders, we will literally be saving lives."

KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

On of my state reps looks like General Sherman and nobody here is nerdy enough to share that with and it eats at me occasionally. 😫

On the one hand, banning right on red is a proven way to save lives and reduce injuries. On the other hand, drivers are delayed by a few seconds. So it’s impossible to say if it’s good or not.

We are hoping to pass a bill this year in WA state prohibiting employers from requiring driver's licenses when other transportation modes could work. The bill has it's first hearing Tuesday!
