Concerned citizen. Journalist. Really concerned citizen.
@librariesftp.bsky.social I love the library because it is always a safe place to go. I know I can almost always find a way to do something I need for free at the library. When someone needs help to escape a bad situation and they don't have much money - the library is where to start.

Hundreds quarantined as South Carolina measles outbreak accelerates
A state epidemiologist said the spike in cases came in the wake of Thanksgiving travel and a lack of vaccinations. At least 16 cases were traced to a church.

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

This is proof that it never was about the cost of eggs or inflation.

Racists will pay any amount to be racist.
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

ICE heavy in Shakopee this am.

They clearly don’t like the pressure of our observer network tracking them . Went so far as to box me (and others) in with their vehicles and take pics while we sat in a parking lot.

ICE intimidation won’t work. DM me to join our observer network.

ICE detained a US citizen who was originally from Somalia.

They grabbed her because they didn’t like her hijab.

She says they sexually assaulted her and said things like “what are you hiding under your hijab”

She was held for 24 hours.
