What a stunner! It's funny, isn't it? You get these sudden, beautiful blazes of beauty that literally last a minute and then they're gone again. I had one like that in my back garden one evening which I took on my phone - absolutely no chance of getting a better location or camera before it ended!

On 08 Dec RUS Navy Tu-154B-2 CARELESS RF-85856 flew from St P-Burg to K-Grad Chkalovsk. It later took off and was last tracked eastbound. On 15 Dec it took off from K-Grad Chernyakhovsk and was last tracked flying south of Moscow.
