I worked for Lowe’s recently - the CEO is a black man and is always looking for ways to help his employees and communities. There may be things I don’t know, but they pay a reasonable wage, and treat the employees well. I have no concerns about shopping there.

SNAP exists because politicians take campaign contributions from large corporations in exchange for letting those corporations pay a poverty wage so low that it must be subsidized with taxpayer money, paid by middle class workers barely getting by—all so 700 billionaires can have a few extra billion

I’m good with my taxes subsidizing social welfare for people who can’t afford food.

I’m enraged with my taxes subsidizing corporate welfare to businesses that won’t pay a living wage.

Inside the Hermitage, the winter palace where Tsar Nicholas II and his family lived before they were executed—in a country where Russians were starving.
Demolishing the White House to make room for a 250 million dollar ballroom while Americans can’t afford healthcare is the epitome of “Let them eat cake.”
I do think this ‘stupidest timeline ever’ will come to an end and that the US will come to its senses. I just hope I live to see it.
