Woke up randomly recalling the weird, but cool window shutter mechanic that would send you flying huge distances in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, and turns out the game is only $2 right now on Steam.

So now I’m playing Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones on my Steam Deck.

Gotta’ say. I’m getting pretty good at dyeing my daughter’s hair.

Instead of referring to these as live-action remakes, can we all agree to just call them the other animated versions?

I accidentally bought ground salt for my salt grinder, so I’ve just kind of been using it as a salt shaker.

It’s been my embarrassing secret, but today, my family will find out when they try to grind salt on their thanksgiving dinner and I will have to explain myself.

I have all of these jackets, many of them bought for me by my wife. Whenever she’s not around I’m always looking for her. I’m not sure if that’s related.

I like to wait for movies to come to streaming and then also not watch them.

It’s time to start up our Joey rewatch podcast, @marcusstewart7.bsky.social.

And by rewatch I, of course, mean I watch it for the first time and you watch it for the first time without ever having watched Friends.

Friends fans, this is major news for you. Listen up. Matt LeBlanc’s classic spinoff series Joey has just released a whopping eight unaired episodes — over 20 years after the show was cancelled.

Preparing for Metroid.

Was planning on grabbing these, but is there something comparable that folks have had good experiences with?

Just thinking about one of my favorite sequences put to film in the last decade or so again.

Reviewed Deadpool VR, a game that has an impressively involved Jeff Minter joke.
Both the dialogue and gameplay of Marvel's Deadpool VR sometimes grated on me, but there are a number of impressive moments and the occasional strong joke that surprised me and made me laugh.

This is good news.

Game Night is also very good and underrated. Genuinely one of my favorite Jesse Plemons performances.

This was the song used for curtain call at my daughter's school play. An unexpected, but welcome choice.

She suspects someone on the tech side might be an anime fan, but is wildly uninterested in investigating more.

I’m finally actually me! You can officially trust my opinion and I’ll start by saying that season three of Picard is already much better than the first two.

Thank you for your time.

Reviewed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, a game I liked a lot more than Age of Calamity, and not just because it looks and plays a lot better thanks to the Switch 2.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment offers myriad improvements across the board mechanically and visually, but my favorite element is that it treats Tears of the Kingdom’s story with respect.

Hey, look at that byline!
Dispatch delivers one of the most compelling interactive dramas in years, an adult animated superhero story with the emotional punch of prestige television and a script that truly shines.

Saw the 4K re-release of Angel’s Egg tonight. I’d never see it before.

It may have been the most abstract and impenetrable movie I have ever seen in a theatre. But I suspect I will think about it for the rest of my life.

This is great casting and I’m excited for noted Nintendo fan Brie Larson to be playing a Nintendo character, but it better not prevent her from playing Samus in the inevitable live-action Metroid movie.

Reviewed Lumines Arise. Even busted out the ‘ol PSVR2.
Lumines Arise is the kind of game that I won’t delete from my hard drive because I will always want the option to lose myself to the game periodically, which Arise is consistently excellent at.
