Some big highlights here:

- The magazine will be more pages
- The quality of the cover and paper stock is much better
- The magazine will ship in a polybag, meaning it will be better protected from wear during shipping
- 5% of your purchase goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
I’m finally actually me! You can officially trust my opinion and I’ll start by saying that season three of Picard is already much better than the first two.

Thank you for your time.

Reviewed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, a game I liked a lot more than Age of Calamity, and not just because it looks and plays a lot better thanks to the Switch 2.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment offers myriad improvements across the board mechanically and visually, but my favorite element is that it treats Tears of the Kingdom’s story with respect.

Hey, look at that byline!
Dispatch delivers one of the most compelling interactive dramas in years, an adult animated superhero story with the emotional punch of prestige television and a script that truly shines.

Time to vote.

(Also, if a game you would put on your list isn't here, let me know)

Saw the 4K re-release of Angel’s Egg tonight. I’d never see it before.

It may have been the most abstract and impenetrable movie I have ever seen in a theatre. But I suspect I will think about it for the rest of my life.

Looking at the new Steam Machine.

This is great casting and I’m excited for noted Nintendo fan Brie Larson to be playing a Nintendo character, but it better not prevent her from playing Samus in the inevitable live-action Metroid movie.
Nintendo has revealed that Brie Larson is voicing Rosalina and Benny Safdie is voicing Bowser Jr. in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. gameinformer.com/nintendo-dir...

Reviewed Lumines Arise. Even busted out the ‘ol PSVR2.
Lumines Arise is the kind of game that I won’t delete from my hard drive because I will always want the option to lose myself to the game periodically, which Arise is consistently excellent at.

Seeing the Watchmen frame shared a lot today (because it's November 10), which is a great excuse to recommend @leovader.com's amazing autobiographical YouTube essay.

It's cinema. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jaW...

Here's my timely review of Picard season two as I make my way through all of Star Trek: The Next Generation and beyond.

Bad.

It looks like the Zelda movie is going to an actual place to film, which gives me some optimism.

Picross 3D Round 2 is apparently my fourth most-played Nintendo game of the last 14 or so years.

Here’s my play activity from the bottom up in the new Nintendo Store app. Very happy that this database exists now, even if it’s in a weird place.

A 10/10 score is a rare honor, and Game Informer has only awarded 32 across its 34 years of existence. Here's a round-up of each one, along with the stories of some games that almost got a 10: gameinformer.com/2025/11/04/e...

Fun marginally interesting factoid: when The Witness released I reached out to SouljaBoy’s people to see if we could send him a copy of the game and talk to him about it. They seemed enthusiastic initially, but I never heard back when I followed up for the next step 🤷‍♀️

I would like a Weird Al “The Saga Begins” type parody that similarly recounts the plot of Chainsaw Man, but set to Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a dishwasher safe garlic press? I am willing to pay for a high-quality garlic press. I've gone through two in as many months. It's been a calamity.

Bren is one of my closest friends and it hurts so much to see his amazing wife Jen having such a hard battle with Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Please donate if you can spare anything -- MG is a very under-researched disease and finding proper care is hard.
Jen has been in the hospital most of October. These hospital stays and the recovery are the most challenging her Myasthenia Gravis has ever been.

If you’re able to share this post / donate we would be forever grateful.

Thank you again for all of your help ❤️

It's too bad they don't have a, "I only want to try some online play for a few days" tier for subscribing.
