Interrupting your doomscrolling with a fun project I did to prevent myself from doomscrolling: a LEGO MOC of the world map from The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past video game. I used bricks we had on hand, so the colors and shapes aren’t perfect, but pretty dang close for small scale!

No matter what you eat for the holidays, please never:

- comment on how much someone is eating
- comment on how little someone is eating
- comment on someone eating

This can be a major trigger for people with eating disorders. Plus it’s none of your business. Thanks!

Just because LLMs are pretty good at writing javascript doesn’t mean that building complex web UIs is “easy” - it means that there‘s a metric shit ton of training data for it to use.

It's almost Thanksgiving! Got an ICE member coming for dinner at your house? No you don't! Can't stop them because you're not the one hosting? No problem. You can shun them, mock them, shame them, cough in their food. They get the weird chair. No weird chair? Make a weird chair.

“Trump whore” isn’t how we (the left, generally) would insult one of them. “Whore” is pure conservative. It’s how they imagine cruelty, but that kind of gendered slur is how they hate each other, not how we hate them.

But I suppose “fascist bootlicker” is harder to write oh your own torso.

Don't settle for "fast enough". Instead, aim to create a user experience that's #pragmagical — blending user delight with measurable business impact.

How Fast Is Fast Enough?

pretty funny in retrospect that QAnon hinged on the idea that powerful elites at the highest levels of government were smart enough to talk in code when sending emails to each other about their despicable crimes

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

It’s trite but true tell people that you love them. Take more pictures & videos of every moment together. Take no one in your life for granted.
