President of WSTU Local 571. A VP of IFT. Proud AFT and AFL-CIO member. He/his. Avid Reader, Ballpark Chaser, and Lego Builder. Work in Progress. Be Kind
WSTU spent the day in Springfield with IFT members pushing for fully funded public schools.

It was good to be in the room with legislators.

Appreciated the chance to connect, advocate, and remind folks that public education deserves more than lip service. It deserves investment.

🧵 Albuquerque, NM — A man was violently tased & tackled inside the Walmart at 2250 Coors Blvd by unidentified masked thugs in ICE & HSI vests. He screamed for help as he was dragged out. A bystander filmed it—then was kicked out of the store. Walmart is complicit in covering up a public kidnapping.

Unfortunately many will not live through this.
I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.

The "Big Beautiful Bill" is back in the House—and it's anything but beautiful for our communities.

Behind the shiny branding lies a dangerous attempt to erode public education, strip away protections for marginalized youth, and push us further from equity and justice.

The Senate passed the MAGA budget. Now it’s the House’s turn—and we’ve got receipts. 💥

27 vulnerable reps. Their biggest donors.

Time to turn up the heat:
📞 Call 202-224-3121
📲 Tag them. DM them. Flood their feeds.

Let’s stop this bill in its tracks.

So disgusting that Republicans in the Senate don't care for their fellow citizens.
Many seniors can’t afford dental care, hearing aids or glasses.

I’m proud that all Democrats supported my amendment last night to expand Medicare to cover dental, hearing and vision paid for by cutting prescription drug costs for Medicare in half.

No Republicans voted for it.
