It's amazing the Left didn't make her a martyr like the Right did with Charlie Kirk. Maybe if she'd rebuked the police in the name of @kamalaharris.com instead of Jesus, @thedemocratsmv.bsky.social would have made a bigger deal about police murders than tansgender surgery for criminals?

Lobbyists interviewed for the piece describe the old levers of influence and intelligence as increasingly broken, starting with Congress.

“Congress has basically taken itself out of the equation,” said Rich Gold, who heads Holland & Knight’s public policy and regulation group. “There is a perception that Democrats have not fought back, and Republicans have basically ceded all their authority to the president.”
