I hung out with a guy once who made fun of me for bringing Smirnoff Ice over because “it’s a girl’s drink.” I shrugged and cracked one open and he turned around so quick and asked for one. No one should have to care about how masculine their beverage is or anything else they like or do…
So many men go through life like that. You can play poker because it's right-coded, you can't enjoy fruity alcoholic drinks because they're women-coded, you can't lick an ice cream cone because it's gay-coded. All day, every day, choosing and judging things based on coding for narrow norms.

While my mom is thankfully home from the hospital, her battle is just beginning. She will soon start chemotherapy & weekly Dr visits that will require me to be her full time caregiver. I know times are tough, but anything at all helps us 🫂
