I think there's a subset of trans people who really struggle to differentiate between 'this thing would make me, personally, dysphoric' and 'this is a thing no trans person real or fictional should be portrayed doing' and the fact of the matter is almost nothing fits into the second category.

I feel like for them to work, they have to carve out their own path for themselves instead of just be a carbon copy of their parents in every way. That's why Cable and X Man did well imo.

A while back, I was asked to create my mangaka personification in a school uniform. I draw myself as a #cabbit, but as a quadruped. To make the request work, I made myself a bipedal in a Sanrio-esque fashion. I'm not colouring it and it will remain unused, as it is no longer needed.

Years ago, I was told about these pumpkins that were cultivated to look like a dick. Somehow I came up with the idea of #bulbasaur having one on its back instead of its usual bulb and called it 'Penisaur'. I wanted a 'his&hers', so I gave him a mate, 'Vulvasaur', which is based on a rose.

Something new for 2026 at BF: no press release, no coverage. After Dec you *have* to send a press release with accompanying images. I just don't have the time on top of everything else to "make a story out of this".

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect you to write your own press releases!
