Crime increases when you divest in communities. Mitigating poverty is the easiest and most effective way to mitigate crime. Its also much more cost effective. Additionally, decriminalizing things like sex work, and street vending also helps.

A new report reveals that NYC's sanctuary laws have yet again been violated.

That violation can't be undone—but we can start to build accountability + oversight by passing the NYC Trust Act, so NYers who've been harmed by violations of our sanctuary laws have an opportunity to seek relief in court.
