Day 17: Octo-Flare

Here we are! And only a day and a half behind schedule! As is tradition, another birthday means another beloved Captain gets a reference update, and our blazing guardian has been LONG overdue hers!

Octo-Flare Captain, the alternate universe version of Captain from the “Radiant Convergence” universe (AKA Shade’s universe). She wears her signature cap, a sort of mantle cape thing, long gloves, a sort of dress-like body piece and tall boots. Across her outfit is a consistent flame motif.

She also has two leg holsters containing her two signature dualies, the Kelvin Flares!

Day 16: Ace Trainer (Kalos)

We’re halfway through now! And coincidentally today is the day we return to Kalos in ZA! And to celebrate, Octo Flare went slightly overboard with representing the trainer class that suites her most!

Octo-Flare Captain dressed up as the Ace Trainer class from Pokemon X and Y! The main difference is having a blue highlight on the outfit to match herself. She also styled her hair for this! She’s even doing the pose they do! 10/10 for effort from our flaming Captain herself 🙏

Day 15: Anglerfish Anomaly

Excited to share the latest Anglerfish Anomaly findings! A second instance has been sighted, confirmed distinct from Angela! Despite her mocking tone, we are excited to have more insight into this strange species!

A girl with a distinct set of similarities to Captain, although seemingly a little more “Anglerfish”. She actually resembles Angela quite closely! She possessed a large lure, with a bunch of smaller ones protruding from the same stem. A lot of her clothing seems to be mismatched and patchy though…seems she’s a little less careful-💥

Sometimes I think about the maybe thrice my style has been compared to Tim Burton's. It's kinda the only style comparison I've ever gotten and I DO think my style has gradually moved away from that as time has gone on but sometimes, very rarely, I can still absolutely see it.. craazay
