Anyone who talks about “American exceptionalism” at this point is just demonstrating how out of touch with reality they are. Rather, we need to talk about retooling our systems and attitudes so we can at least compete in the world and stop falling behind.
China Has Overtaken America
And Trump’s policies guarantee that we will never catch up

Wait - so there was a peace deal in place under Biden, but Netanyahu met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago (tinyurl.com/4fn64wah) and scuttled it to give them both a political win?

This isn’t a peace plan. It’s a ceasefire. Why is the media calling it a peace plan?

Remember when Stephen Miller claimed the Chicago apartment raid was on a building “filled with Tren de Aragua terrorists”?

Well, DHS has now dropped the number of alleged TdA members arrested in the building from 2 to 1.
Just one "verified" Tren de Aragua member and one U.S. citizen with an active warrant were among the 37, DHS said, without saying how it had verified that gang affiliation. Others taken that day, the agency said, were "illegal aliens."

This is a military invasion of peaceful neighborhoods - by our own government! Everyone needs to speak out and stand up, including all the cowardly Republicans and other elites who think they can just pretend like nothing’s happening and they aren’t complicit.

How rich to object that questionable messages were cherry picked out of tens of thousands. Did that ever stop them from attacking Hillary's hacked emails? Did that stop them attacking emails hacked from climate scientists like Prof. Michael Mann? That's been their modus operandi for a long time.

Greg Bovino, Kristi Noem, and DHS need to answer for their unchecked attacks on Chicago residents.

ICE is an out-of-control danger to our peaceful communities.

The images from the Sun-Times today speak for themselves.
An ICE agent throws a tear gas canister at protesters at East 105th Street and South Avenue N in East Side.

Hey Washington, DC press corps: instead of wasting more of your time (and ours) spreading Donald’s latest lies, why not take advantage of this opportunity to observe a test run of this highly efficient 21st century ferry?
Flying Electric Ship Halves Commute Times in Washington D.C.
What if you could skip rush hour traffic and instead fly above the waves? Next week, Washingtonians will have the chance to experience the world’s first...

These are flat-out murders, as George Conway says. But you won't see a US newspaper report them that way. That's because they're afraid of the truth.

To everyone who says, "But this won't matter": *MAKE IT MATTER.*

You have that power! This is not inside baseball and your friends and neighbors will likely be appalled. And if they're *not* appalled, don't be cynical yourself. Take the lead, give the cue.

@oversightdemocrats.house.gov Ranking Member Rep. Robert Garcia and I called on @USGAO to investigate Russ Vought’s illegal directive ordering agencies to fire federal workers in violation of the Antideficiency Act.

This scheme needs to be investigated.

So many similarities to GOP candidate Nixon dispatching Kissinger to sabotage LBJ's Vietnam talks, initiating a horrendous Cambodian bombing campaign after winning the 1968 election - only to sign essentially the same deal in 1973 that LBJ had put together 5 years earlier.

When the right loses both Joe Rogan and Marjorie Taylor Greene on the issues in the same week, you know it’s going to get rough for Republicans.

Joe Rogan on ICE: “The way it looks is just horrific.”

QAnon queen MTG on the economy: “I’m just living in reality from here on out.”

What’s even harder to explain is how numbers used to start with letters and how people used words to remember them (the way soldiers would use “Charlie” to represent “C”). I found an article about it but no, it doesn’t make much sense in this day and age: www.mentalfloss.com/article/6111...
Why Did Old Phone Numbers Start With Letters?
Though they looks like gibberish to modern phone-users, these weird numbers were perfectly normal in the 1950s.
