Forcing teachers back to school without addressing any of their concerns is the biggest abuse of democratic rights in Alberta’s history.

Alberta’s New Democrats stand with teachers and unequivocally condemn this attack on public education, on workers and their unions, and democracy itself. /1

After the UCP increased co-payments by 40% on seniors’ drug plans, this leaked cabinet document reveals that Danielle Smith has secret plans to charge Albertans hundreds of millions more for their prescription drugs.

Danielle Smith often calls herself the most 'freedom-loving' politician in Canada, yet she's repeatedly infringed on your fundamental human rights.

Her actions are simply cruel, wrong, and politically motivated.

For the first time in Alberta history, Danielle Smith will use the notwithstanding clause preemptively to shield her bills targeting vulnerable trans children from legal scrutiny.

Her actions are simply cruel and wrong.

The first time an Alberta government invoked the notwithstanding clause, public outrage forced a reversal in less than 24 hours. I wish to God Albertans would show the same moral fury now, when school children are outed & bullied by the government that is supposed to protect them. #ableg #abpoli

We once had the best public education in the world, a reliable healthcare system, and a thriving economy.

But under the UCP, we've all but lost our advantage.

It doesn't have to be this way.

With Alberta's New Democrats, better is possible.

The one from 24th Avenue NW west bound to Crowchild Trail NW north bound was remodelled and fitted with traffic lights. Great improvement because that was another killer pork-chop intersection, the scene of many vehicle-pedestrian/cylist crashes.
Maybe it'll recommend getting rid of those killer pork-chop intersections, especially to/from high-speed streets.

Once again, the UCP's attempts to distract from their horrific record have backfired. Their own incompetence and inability to manage complex files have led to wasted time, wasted money, and unneeded stress.

Albertans deserve better.

Premier Smith is blaming immigrants for government failures.

The UCP launched "Alberta is Calling” yet, ignored services like housing, healthcare,& education

They’re dividing Albertans by blaming newcomers.

The problem is bad leadership, not newcomers.

Cellphone use while driving is so normalized that drivers don't even hide it. With driver mode & hands free, there's no excuse but enforcement is non-existent & our elected 'leaders' would sooner pick on people using active mobilty than address these dangerous behaviours. h/t @tomflood.bsky.social

“[Danielle Smith] clearly isn’t listening to the average Albertan, although she is pretending to. How many more millions of dollars will she waste, chasing after appearances?”

We’re all wondering the same thing.

Wait till you hear about cars.

This summer, I'm travelling across Alberta with our team.

We’ll be knocking doors, listening to communities, and talking about what it truly takes to build a strong future for our province and our country.

Albertans want leadership that builds bridges, not walls.

We know we’re #BetterTogether.
